The Global Peace Convention 2017 will bring together leading global experts and practitioners to share best practices and develop multi-sector partnerships for sustainable peace and development and the achievement of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A combination of plenary and parallel sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to share, learn and collaborate on achieving a collective impact. GPC 2017 will feature the Global Youth Summit, a celebration of youth leadership that aims to engage and inspire the worlds future experts. The Global Youth Summit is a space for young people to share their ideas and utilize their diverse skill-sets, knowledge and networks to effectively address persistent problems of today. Delegates will participate in workshops that address themes and issues that impact youth such as technology, environment, public policy advocacy and education.
